“The people that I’m working with are not artistic or not necessarily connected to art, per se. I’m thinking about how knowledge production can actually happen in a way that is mutually beneficial or mutually generative.”

Artists and Rights, Episode 4: What Solidarity Feels Like: Unlearning, Finding Alignment, and Being Uncomfortable

Artist Statement: My recent work in video, installation, and performance has investigated experimental approaches to narrative, involving strategies from television, theater, and documentary. A current ongoing project has involved a collaboration with two queer poet/activists based in Delhi who I have been in dialogue with for the past several years. The images we have made together comprise interviews, conversations and casual moments of intimacy, all of which have unfolded amidst the shifting political landscape of India.
