In honor of the new Summer issue, we present a trio of videos expanding on the issue’s contents. These talks explore on the themes of loss, grief, and memory that flow through the collected articles. The editorial board doesn’t assign themes to the issue contents in advance, but sometimes there are threads that weave the contents together.

—Susan Mogul’s video, Mom’s Move (2018). Screening through September 30.
Rhoda Mogul passed away this Spring and we present the video in memoriam in collaboration with Susan Mogul. Part bio, part memoir, Mom’s Move is an intergenerational film about mothers and daughters, women and photography, remembering and forgetting, and the tension between women’s private and public selves. This special screening of Mom’s Move is only available through September 2020, with the support of Video Data Bank. Kristina Newhouse explores Moguls’ recent exhibitions in Los Angeles in her review in the issue, “A Feminist Survival Index.”
