SURFING & SMOKING An evening curated by The Modeling Agency
Join us for a series of short presentations, refreshments, and pick up a copy of the new issue.
Christopher James and Nick Herman (themodelingagency.net) host the night in celebration of X-TRA’s new issue and the return of summer. Dedicated to the study of surfing and smoking, our night’s themes are pulled from the pages of our issue.
Dr. Jeroen Molemaker (Associate Research Professor in Physical Oceanography at the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics at UCLA) explains how chaos theory is used to model waves and smoke for film animations. Grant W. Graves (Founder Precision Diving and Vice President of AIDA, the Worldwide Federation for breath-hold diving) conducts a breath-holding workshop. Christopher James will screen his new video about being out on the water.
