X-TRA reaches over 12,000 readers per issue.
X-TRA has always been distributed in nonprofit arts venues, galleries, and college and university art programs. In 2004, the publication greatly expanded its reach by initiating nationwide distribution and is currently available at more than 300 newsstands and bookstores across the country (including the Barnes & Noble chain).
With the launch of Volume 10 in September of 2007, X-TRA initiated a complete redesign including four-color printing on high quality paper stock. This change enables us to print beautiful museum quality reproductions within the interior pages of X-TRA that better complements and reflects the quality of our essays, articles and reviews.
With our improved print quality and new design, our avenues of distribution will increase dramatically in the coming years.
